Have a question you’d like to ask? I’m committed to giving patients the best care and experience I can. Check out the answers to the FAQs below, and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any additional questions.

  • Where is Your Practice Located?
My practice is devoted to offering telehealth services. Operating from Colorado, my services extend beyond state lines, reaching clients in various locations, thanks to my PSYPACT approval. This setup ensures that geographical boundaries do not limit your access to dedicated, high-quality mental health care. PSYPACT-Approved As a PSYPACT-approved psychologist my license allows me to provide services across state lines to clients in PSYPACT-participating states. This certification is not only a mark of my commitment to making care accessible but also ensures adherence to the highest standards of professional practice. Commitment to Your Privacy and Security Maintaining the confidentiality and security of our communication is paramount. In addition to conducting all sessions through HIPAA-compliant platforms, my practice also utilizes HIPAA-compliant Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. These systems ensure the highest level of protection for your personal information, reflecting my deep commitment to your privacy and the integrity of your therapeutic process.
  • What are your fees?
For Psychotherapy Clients: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. For more information or if you have questions about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, please visit CMS No Surprises or call 800-985-3059. 60-minute Intake Session: $200. 60-minute Individual Psychotherapy Session: $160 (includes 50 minutes of session time and 10 minutes for administrative tasks). Consultation Services: Billed at the same rate as psychotherapy sessions. Forensic Services: Parental Responsibility Evaluation (PRE) Services: Billed at $300 per hour for activities including interviews, observations, psychological testing, document review, emails, and report writing. The hourly rate for testifying in court is $350. A retainer of $7,000 is required prior to evaluation commencement.
  • Do you take insurance?
For Psychotherapy Clients: I accept various insurance plans and Out of Network patients. Please contact me with the details of your plan. For clients who may want to utilize their insurance mental health services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please, check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions: Do I have mental health insurance benefits? What is my deductible? How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover? What is the coverage amount per session? Insurance/Deductibles: Upon request, I can give you a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement. Numerous clients have large deductibles, which they must pay out of pocket, and they prefer to select their own provider rather than have the insurance company choose for them.
  • How do I set up our first appointment?
To set up your free 15 minute consultation meeting or have questions regarding my services with me please send an email at or call/text me at (720) 307-7378 and I will contact you within 48-hours. After our initial consultation, I will ask you to complete an intake form, read the office and billing policies, disclosure statement, and sign all the appropriate documents based on the service you are seeking so that I can schedule your appointment. When you schedule your appointment, you will have the opportunity to go over the procedure and ask any questions you might have about the paperwork in person with me. The goal for our first couple of meetings is to get to know you and make you feel comfortable, talk about what brings you in to the office, and gather background information that will help us as we work together to reach your goals.
  • How long will therapy take?
Depending on the issue you are seeking help for, therapy sessions could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months for relatively simple problems. You might need to invest more time in therapy—up to a year or longer—if your issues are complicated or have persisted for a long time. Your motivation is a significant factor that may affect the length of therapy. According to research, you are more likely to have positive therapy outcomes if you are motivated to change, seek help, and accomplish your goals. Likewise, if you are not very motivated or willing to do the work, then the therapy process can drag on or end too soon, causing your symptoms to remain the same or maybe even get worse with time. Making an effort and commitment to therapy is crucial.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
Psychotherapy clients: There is no charge for any session cancelled 24 or more hours prior to the scheduled time. However, sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a $160 fee. PCDM/PRE clients: Refer to the service agreement for more information.
